[phas-dept] SPS meeting - Tomorrow (REUs and Officer Elections)

[Melanie Schroers]

SPS meeting *TOMORROW! *

1pm in physics Lounge

REUs and SPS Officer Elections

Come learn about REUs (Research Experience for Undergraduates) and why they
are important!

REUs are summer internships for students at smaller universities that want
to conduct research in a field that is not offered at their home
university. They help prepare students for graduate school and broaden your
research horizons.

Getting ready for graduate school can be scary so bring your questions. *Even
if you are a freshman it is NEVER too early to start preparing for your
future.*

We will also be making the ballots for our officer elections that will take
place at the next game night. *Email me if you are interested in becoming
an officer.*

And of course you can come get free donuts!

Hope to see you all there!
