[phas-dept] basic research = wealth

All,

the American Physical Society and the Annenberg Public Policy Center, have worked intensively to raise public awareness of the benefits of basic research in science.

We have convinced business leaders to run the attached add printed on the NY Times, last Monday. The add is also set to run in tomorrow's edition of the Wall Street Journal.

As a small university, we are proud of contributing to the development of basic science in the U.S. It is part of our duty to raise public awareness for the benefits of it. Please help us.
