[phas-dept] Ready, Set, Go!!!

[Cheri Davis]

Graduates and Undergraduates,

It's that time of the year again. Texas Space Grant Consortium has opened the application process for both graduate fellowships and scholarships as well as for undergraduate scholarships. A&M Commerce is a consortium member and as such, you are eligible to apply for funding.

Over the last eight years Texas Space Grant Consortium has awarded over $1,250,000 in Fellowships and Scholarships. All graduate and undergraduate students that are attending TSGC academic institutions are eligible to apply. Since we joined TSGC our faculty and students have been awarded at a variety of levels.

     Scholarships - $12,000
     Fellowships - $25,000
     Grants - $15,000

The consortium is allocated specific funds to be awarded as scholarships or fellowships and those funds could be yours. Just complete the application process including a couple of short essay questions and hopefully you will be one of those selected.

Applications for the Graduate Fellowships and Undergraduate Scholarships are due May 01, 2015, but don't wait, apply now. We had two fellowships awarded last year to Wesley Adams and Chance Brown.

Take advantage of this opportunity, I would love to see your name added to the recipients listed on the Texas Space Grant website. http://www.tsgc.utexas.edu/grants/recipients.html

Good luck,

(Did I mention that the awards are paid directly to those selected?)
