Hi folks,

I'm in the process of forming a campus astronomy club. The first step in doing so is to get a list of active students who will participate in the club. So, if you are a student and interested in joining, please send me your name, CWID, and whether you would definitely participate or are interested but not sure if you will participate. Also, if you are willing to serve as a temporary officer, please let me know. We need a president, a vice president, a treasurer, and a secretary to get started.

The first meeting will be set up after we get initial approval (which requires a list of officers and participating students). At that point we can elect permanent officers and make a plan of attack for the year; early on we need to develop club goals, plan community events, and decide on fundraising.

Thanks!
