[phas-dept] Undergrad Physics Majors Meeting THURSDAY 3PM

[Kurtis Williams]

Hi everyone,

If you are an undergraduate student, or if you know one, we need your help.

This Thursday, Feb 7, at 3pm we need to have a meeting of as many undergraduate physics majors as possible. This important meeting is so that we can get some ideas from you on how to attract more students to our program (and may well touch on expectations you have that aren't being met). The meeting will be led by Lisa Martinez, Associate Director of Marketing & New Media. We faculty will not be attending, so you can feel free to speak freely and anonymously. We need this information, and the more of you there are, the better we can beat down the Poisson noise!

The meeting should take about 30 minutes and will be followed by an SPS meeting. (If you aren't in SPS, stick around to learn about some of the exciting upcoming events!)

Snacks and drinks will be provided. We'll plan on meeting in room 103; if it is in use, we'll find somewhere else.

So, if you are an undergrad, please come. If you teach any undergraduate courses with physics majors, please strongly encourage them to go.

What: Meeting of undergraduate physics majors
When: Thursday, Feb. 7 at 3pm
Where: Science 103 or nearby.
