Hi, All:

For the new students, a warm Welcome to you! For the returning students, Welcome Back!

This Thursday, August 29, we'll have 2 student meetings and a barbecue!

>From 3-4 the Graduate students will meet in room 135 with faculty, postdocs, and research scientists. ALL graduate students are encouraged to attend.

>From 4-5 the undergrads will meeting in room 135 with faculty. Again, ALL undergrads are encouraged to attend. This will be a chance to get to know all your fellow physics majors, as well as the faculty, and for the faculty to get to know you!

At about 5pm, we'll have a barbecue with burgers and dogs (including vegetarian options), etc. Just a nice relaxed welcome back affair.

Please RSVP to Lisa.Cravotta at tamuc.edu so we have an approximate headcount.

Thanks, and my door is always open so please come talk with me if you have any questions or concerns.

It should have everyone who is a major, second major, or minor in physics, as well as faculty, postdocs, and staff. If you have an announcement to send out that everyone should see (like announcing SPS meetings), please send it to this list.
