Good Morning,

The NASA Texas Space Grant Consortium (TSGC) has not been satisfied with the total numbers of completed applications so the deadline has been extended to May 10 (don’t wait).  That is a benefit for those of you who want money but have not applied for (or completed) a scholarship or fellowship.  It will take you less than 30 minutes to complete the application; including a few short questions and uploading a version of your transcripts from myLeo.  Supply the email address of the person (instructor/professor) who will quickly complete a recommendation on your behalf.  http://www.tsgc.utexas.edu/grants/index.html


These funds are dedicated for the purpose of financing students.  The funds will go directly to students and the total number of awards depends on the completed applications.  TSGC attempts to award these across all of the schools that are Consortium members<http://www.tsgc.utexas.edu/members/index.html>; usually 20-30 awards are made. Look at the numbers for the completed applications, there are VERY FEW and fewer from TAMUC!   If you need help, come see me, email, or we can zoom!


Seriously, the money is going to someone, why not you? Oh, right-you have to complete an application first!
