Hi, All:
Join us Thursday, February 28, from 7-9 p.m. in The Club for our monthly Leo Talks. We will have a couple of great speakers who will entertain you and get you thinking and talking with your fellow audience members. We even have a bit of a theme this month:
* Dr. Raymond Green (Honors College): "Checking out the Grass from Underneath: Cemeteries and Memorialization of the Dead"
* Dr. William Newton (Physics and Astronomy): "Performing a Stellar Autopsy: Listening to the Innards of Colliding Stars in the New Era of Gravitational Wave Astronomy"
Leo Talks are "TED-Like" talks (20 minutes) that are on a topic of particular interest to the speaker. Hosted by the Office of Sponsored Programs, our goal is to bring our faculty, staff, students and community together to share ideas and get to know each other in a relaxed setting over an adult beverage or two. Leo Talks will be hosted on the fourth Thursday of every month for the spring term.
