Thanks for letting me announce the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Writers Conference of the Southwest 2008 today at the North Texas Writing Center Conference.

The Mayborn conference will take place on July 18-20, 2008, at the Hilton DFW Lakes in Grapevine, Texas. The theme is “Let your writing take flight.” To register and find more information, visit http://themayborn.unt.edu/ or call 940-565-4564. The directors of our various north Texas writing centers may wish to order some posters and some of their bookmarks. Ask for Brandee Harrawood. Mitch Land and George Getschow at UNT are in charge; they walk our walk and talk our talk.
