[ntwca] corrections

[Shannon Carter]

A couple of corrections (I think I pressed "send" to quickly). . .

The url for the for the newsletter is actually

http://orgs.tamu-commerce.edu/ntwca/newsletter.htm

I forgot the .edu

And I failed to include one of the two most prestigious awards bestowed upon
Texas HOPE Literacy. Here are the corrections on that one--

Shannon Carter (A&M-Commerce), Lucy Smith (Founder and Director of Texas
HOPE Literacy), and Jake Pichnarcik (A&M-Commerce will follow Dr. Enos's
keynote address with a presentation that describes a prison literacy program
(Texas HOPE Literacy) that trains literate inmates to teach illiterate
inmates to read and write in English. The program--now almost ten years
old--won the 2005 Governor's Most Innovative Program award and the 2006
Governor's Community Capacity Builder Award, having been recommended for
this award by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. HOPE is currently
in place at four units in the Texas prison system. Please visit
www.hopelit.com for more information about this exciting program.

Thanks, Lucy!

Hope to see you all there!
Shannon

Interesting aspect of researching "motivation..." We certainly fit in this
category, thought not this grant. It's another leg of the research.
