[New International Students]

Greetings Students!

Below are instructions on how to obtain your Student Health Insurance online.
Insurance cards are no longer mailed by Blue Cross Blue Shield, unless a student requests one online.

#1 - Request an Insurance Card online:

  1.  Start by going to Academic Health Plan’s website: https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/
  2.  Click on GET your ID Card

  1.  Click on Find Group and Member ID

  1.  Provide your student information and save your member ID.

#2 - Register for BCBS Account:

  *   Click “Register Now” and Follow prompts using the Member ID you received in the steps above.

Once you complete the process, you’ll have access to ID card, claims, providers, and other plan resources.
