Good Afternoon New International Lions,

As a new Incoming student, getting your Lion card is essential to navigate both of our campuses. Please read the information below as you can use the app store to get your lion card electronically or you can walk in to the Lion Card office to get your physical copy.

Submit a Photo for Your Lion Card with Transact eAccounts
Part of the orientation process is going to the Lion Card Office to have your photo taken and have your Lion Card printed. We are requiring that you submit your photo for you Lion Card online ahead of your arrival for orientation to allow us time to have your card printed and ready for you to pick up on orientation day. We are excited to introduce you to the Transact eAccounts application, available as an app for your smart phone or available on the apps tab in myLeo. Please have your photo submitted no later than NOON 8/17/2022 to allow us time to approve your photo and have your card printed so it will be ready when you arrive. ***IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING AND/OR PICKING UP YOUR LION CARD***


  *   If for any reason you have previously received a Lion Card you do not need to submit a photo, your current card will work.
  *   You now have the option to have a printed Lion Card or a digital Lion Card on your phone. There are detailed instructions attached to this email that will assist you with how to set up the app on your phone and submit your photo. The instructions will show you how to let us know if you want a card printed or if you will add your card to your phone. If you have questions please reply to this email so we can assist you.

  *   Please keep in mind that the photo you submit is your official university ID; the included instructions list the requirements for a successful photo. Please follow the criteria when sending your photographs. If the photograph you submit is rejected you will receive an email from lioncard at tamuc.edu<mailto:lioncard at tamuc.edu> explaining why it was rejected. If your second submitted photo is rejected you will be required to take your photo at the Lion Card Office. The Lion Card Team wants you to be happy with your submission but we need your picture to look professional, please take this request seriously.
