Dear Students:

As we enter what is typically known as the "holiday season" here in the United States (Thanksgiving, Hanukah and Christmas), I'd like to take a moment to express our appreciation that you are considering Texas A&M University-Commerce as your potential university of study. Much goes into a decision as important as this one, so please allow me to offer some reasons as to why we remain your best choice:
*         Strong academic programs
* Smaller class sizes that allow students to get to know and work directly with their professors
* TAMUC is a mid-sized university (13,000 students) able to offer genuine American academic and cultural experiences, while providing students one-on-one assistance
* The campus is a safe, welcoming and culturally diverse community; our students come from over 58 countries
* Affordability; TAMUC is one of the most affordable schools in the Texas A&M University System
* A vibrant international student community that continues to grow
* Friendly and helpful support services that ensure student success
* Our main campus in Commerce, Texas is located approximately one hour from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area, a leading global business, technological and cultural center of the United States and the world

American university and college campuses remain the most "value-added" and cost-effective way in which to enjoy an intercultural experience while preparing for your future--and Texas A&M University-Commerce continues to rank among the best universities that can provide such experiences.

We look forward to you joining the University family in January to take that next important step in ensuring your future. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our International Student and Scholar Services Office at (903) 886-5097. Please travel safely.
