[NewIntlStudents] Insurance Waiver is Open

[New International Students]

Students,

The fall semester health insurance waiver application period opened August 1.  Any F-1 or J-1 international (or change of status to F-1) student who meets one of the A&M System allowed exceptions will need to submit their SSHIP Waiver<https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver> as soon as possible.  The deadline to apply for a waiver is September 6.  For more information, please review the attached handout.


v Graduate Assistants with Grad Plan insurance effective for fall 2016 DO NOT need to submit waiver requests but will be required to submit the Assistantship Verification Form<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/assistantship_form.aspx>.
