[New International Students]

Hello from the Office of International Student & Scholar Services at Texas A&M University-Commerce

All new F-1 and J-1 international students are required to check-in with an International Student Advisor in person at the ISSS in Halladay 104 before they may register for courses.  Please note that students must report to the ISSS by Friday, June 5.  The ISSS will not grant permission for students to arrive late and students must check-in in person before they may register for classes.

Check-ins are only be appointment and will begin on Monday, May 18.  Below is the full schedule for check-in.

*         Monday, May 18 through Friday May 29 (no weekends) from 1pm-4pm

*         The university and ISSS will be closed on Monday, May 25

*         Tuesday, June 2 through Friday, June 5 from 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm

Please be sure to go online to the above wesbite and schedule your check-in immediately.  Attached is a data form that you will need to complete and bring with you to your check-in appointment.  Below is a list of the documents required at check-in:

*         Copy of I-20 all pages

*         If transfer student we will need copies of ALL previous I-20's

*         Copy of passport and visa

*         Copy of I-94- If paper copy then we need copy of front and back.  If electronic record you may access at www.cbp.gov/I94<http://www.cbp.gov/I94>.
