[NewIntlStudents] International Student Orienation and Orientation Series sessions for TAMUC

Wed Dec 16 16:53:00 CST 2015

Hello

Attached is our schedule for the International Student Orientation on Wednesday, January 13 beginning at 8am for all new F-1 and J-1 international students to Texas A&M University-Commerce. Please note that attendance to the International Student Orientation is mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 international students. In addition to the orientation we are also offering sessions during our Orientation Series. These sessions will include a number of different informative sessions. Please note that some sessions are still being planned and dates and times may be subject to change.

Our Orientation Series will begin this Monday, December 21 at 4pm in BA 221 (McDowell Administration Building) with a housing session called Where Should I Live? We will also offer two additional housing sessions before the beginning of the semester. We strongly recommend students attend to learn about local housing options, housing policies and rules, and some cultural differences to keep in mind.

Our other sessions that are part of the Orientation Series will be after the start of the semester and you may review all of our offerings with the attached schedule. We will also be offering a local shuttle to Walmart and local banks on January 14 and 15 for international students. The shuttle is free and you may learn more at the orientation.
