We hope you are well.  Attached with this email you will find the International Student Orientation schedule for Wednesday, August 26, 2015.  As you can see we will be offering a number of sessions for new students to help address your questions and prepare you for your studies at A&M-Commerce.  We are planning some fun, interactive, and informative sessions for new international students.  As a reminder, attendance at the International Student Orientation is mandatory for all F-1 and J-1 students.  Students in the U.S. under other visa categories are welcome to attend the orientation.

This fall we are introducing a new program called the Orientation Series that provides informative sessions for new students during different dates and times before the semester and after the beginning of the semester.  The Orientation Series will begin with a "Where Should I Live?" campus and off-campus housing session on August 20 and August 27 at 4pm in the ISSS in Halladay 104.  The series also includes other social events (free ice cream at the ISSS) where you can meet other students, networking opportunities on-campus for campus jobs and volunteer opportunities, and sessions about other campus services.  Be sure to check out our new Orientation Series information on the attached schedule.

The ISSS will also be providing a FREE shuttle to local banks in Commerce and to the Walmart in Commerce.  We will have a sign-up for the local shuttle closer very soon through our website.
