[New International Students]

The International Student Services Office (ISSO) would like to
congratulate you on your admission to Texas A&M University-Commerce.  We
have been processing I-20's for our summer students and we look forward
to meeting you soon.  

 

To stay in touch we recommend you find our international student
Facebook page by searching for Texas A&M University Commerce-
International Students on Facebook or you may also find the director of
the ISSO, John Mark Jones, through Google Hangout.  We are working on
scheduling online hours in the mornings (possibly 8am-11am Central
Standard Time U.S.) during the week for students to contact us through
Google Hangouts if you are signed up.  If you have any questions you may
try to find us online.    

 

Just a few notes, our website has been updated with important
pre-arrival information for our new summer students.  You may find more
information at

list of the topics and we hope that you find this information helpful:

*         Preparing to Arrive covers the I-20 process, visa application
process, navigating through port of entry, and other important
information

*         International Student Orientation, Check-in, and Course
Registration

*         Bacterial Meningitis and Health Insurance covers important
information about our vaccination and health insurance requirements.
Please be sure to review this presentation as soon as possible.  

*         Funding Your Education covers information about on-campus and
off-campus employment as well as scholarship information.  

 

Be sure to make plans to arrive in time to check-in with an
international student advisor in the ISSO and attend the mandatory
orientation for new international students on Thursday, May 29 beginning
at 8:30am.
