[NewIntlStudents] Orientation and Check-in requirements

[New International Students]

Hello

This email is a friendly reminder that all new international students admitted to Texas A&M University-Commerce are required to attend orientation and check-in before they will be able to register for classes.   Please do not ignore this information to avoid delays in your course registration.

Check-in is required in person with the ISSO and you may find a schedule for check-in and the documents/information  required at http://www.tamuc.edu/CampusLife/CampusServices/internationalStudentServices/new-students/international-student-orientation-and-check-in1/orientation-and-check-in-for-new-students-admitted-for-fall.aspx.   Please note students must check-in in person with the ISSO.

Students will need to register for the international student orientation at http://www.tamuc.edu/CampusLife/CampusServices/internationalStudentServices/formsAndOnlineServices.aspx.  The ISSO will host two international student orientations before the start of the fall semester on Tuesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 21.  Students may attend either international student orientation and scheduled check-in.

Undergraduate students are also required to attend the separate New Student Orientation and you may go to http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/oneStopShop/orientation/default.aspx for more information.  The ISSO will conduct our final abbreviated orientation session check-in for undergraduate international students (only undergraduate) on July 31 from 1-3pm prior to the start of the New Student Orientation on July 31-August 1.
