[NewIntlStudents] Orientation for Summer admits and Fall admits

The International Student Services Office (ISSO) at Texas A&M
University-Commerce would like to congratulate you on your admission to
our university.  Over the next few weeks and during the summer you will
receive important emails from our office.  Below is an email regarding
orientation and check-in for summer and fall students.  Please register
for an orientation through our website at
http://www.tamuc.edu/studentLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServ
ices/formsAndOnlineServices.aspx.  A confirmation page is provided
through the website after you have submitted the form and no additional
confirmation is sent.  

 

New international students admitted for the summer semester:  

New international students will not be eligible to register for classes
until they have attended all sessions of orientation and complete
check-in with an international student advisor.    All new international
students admitted for the summer 2013 semester will need to attend the
mandatory international student orientation on Thursday, May 30
beginning at 9am in BA221.  The orientation will go through the morning
and then new international students will need to check-in with an
international student advisor in the ISSO in Halladay 104 that afternoon
beginning at 1:30pm.  For a list of all documents and information

New international students admitted for the fall semester:

New graduate international students admitted for the fall semester may
attend one of the following orientations listed below. Please note
before being eligible to register for courses, new international
students must attend orientation, complete check-in with an
international advisor, and the ISSO must have a Transfer Release form on
record.  For the Transfer Release form go to
http://www.tamuc.edu/studentLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServ
ices/documents/TransferReleaseForm.pdf.  Below is the international
student orientation schedule for new fall graduate international
students.  

*	Thursday, May 30 beginning at 9am in BA221 (check-in will be
conducted that afternoon)
*	Wednesday, August 14 beginning at 9am in BA343 (check-in will be
conducted after the sessions)
*	Thursday, August 22 beginning at 8:30am in BA343 (check-in
schedule will be emailed out later this summer)

New undergraduate students admitted for the fall semester may attend one
of the following orientations listed below.  Please note before being

conducted after the sessions)
*	Wednesday, August 14 beginning at 9am in BA343 (check-in will be
conducted after the sessions)
*	Thursday, August 22 beginning at 8:30am in BA343 (check-in
schedule will be emailed out later this summer)

Please note that all new undergraduate students are also required to
attend the New Student Orientation through the Orientation Office.  The
new international student orientations on June 14, July 19, and August
14 will be conducted prior to the start of the New Student Orientation
