[NewIntlStudents] Transfer release form for transfer students in the U.S.

[New International Students]

All new international students that are currently studying in the U.S.
or studied in the U.S. for the spring are considered transfer students.
Transfer students need to complete the attached Transfer Release form
(if you haven't already) and submit the form to their current school's
international office to complete. Once the form is complete the form
may be emailed to intl.stu at tamuc.edu, faxed to 903-468-3200, or can be
brought in person to the International Student Services Office (ISSO)in
Halladay 104. Please be sure to have the form submitted as soon as
possible.

Transfer students will need to have their SEVIS record transferred to
A&M-Commerce after their last class day. If you plan to travel outside
the U.S. during the summer please contact the ISSO at 903-886-5097 to
discuss your plans and re-entry.

Students who are on OPT need to be aware that their OPT authorization
will end on the day of the transfer if they still have valid OPT time on
their EAD card. Also, USCIS rules require students on OPT to have their
SEVIS record transferred to their no school no later than 60 days after
the end date of their OPT on their EAD card.

If you have any questions please contact the ISSO at 903-886-5097 or
email intl.stu at tamuc.edu.
