Students will not be able to know the exact amount they will owe for
tuition and fees until they have registered for classes. To review the
cost for tuition and most fees (all fees, online fees, program fees, may
not be included) go to
http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/default.aspx.
Please note that ALL international students will be automatically
enrolled in the System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP) as required
by the Texas A&M System. The insurance premium will be an estimated
$639 this fall semester and this charge will be added to your student
account as a separate charge from your tuition and fees the second week
of classes. Payment for the insurance will be required by the 12th day
of class. Please note the insurance requirement is part of the A&M
System policy and the ISSO does not set the insurance cost.
Only students who meet one of the allowed waivers will be exempted from
the mandatory enrollment. For a list of the allowed exceptions go to
http://www.tamuc.edu/studentLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServ
ices/currentStudents/insurance.aspx. If you meet one of the allowed
waivers the deadline to report your waiver eligibility and information
is August 26. You may contact John.Jones at tamuc.edu with any questions
or concerns.
