All new students are required by Texas State law to have a Bacterial Meningitis vaccination prior to the first day of their first semester at a Texas university/college.
New students to A&M-Commerce will need to receive the Bacterial Meningisit vaccination and submit the proof of their vaccination through their myLEO for approval. Students must not only receive the vaccination but also submit proof of the vaccination through myLEO to meet the requirement. Students who fail to receive the vaccination and have it approved through myLEO will not be allowed to continue in classes. This will jeopardize the visa status for F and J visa students.
For more information on the vaccination requirement and instructions for submitting the proof of vaccination go to http://www.tamuc.edu/studentLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/new-students/bacterial-meningitis-vaccination-requirement.aspx.
PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH OUR WEBSITE ABOVE TO AVOID COMMON PROBLEMS FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.
