[NewIntlStudents] When can I register for classes at A&M-Commerce?

[New International Students]

New international students are required to check-in in person with an
international advisor in the International Student Services Office
(ISSO) in Halladay 104 and attend the international student orientation
on Thursday, August 25 beginning at 8:30am before being eligible to
register for classes.  Please go to
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/Orientation_checkin.asp for
more information.  

 

The orientation location will be announced soon and students will need
to plan to be in sessions for orientation or with their academic
department until 5pm.  We strongly recommend students arrive no later
than 8:15am.  If you arrive later than 8:30 then you will not be able to
register for classes until a later date.

 

Check-in will located in the ISSO in Halladay 104 from Wednesday, August
17 to Tuesday, August 23 from 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm and Wednesday, August
24 from 9am-12pm ONLY.  THERE WILL BE NO CHECK-IN ON THURSDAY, AUGUST
25.     There will be a check-in on Friday, August 26 for our late
arrivals from 9am-12pm ONLY in Halladay 104.  

 

The following information/documents are required for check-in:

*        Copy of passport, visa, and I-94 (both sides)

*        Copy of I-20 (first and last page).  Transfer students must
provide copies of all previous I-20's.  You may contact your previous
school's international office for copies.  

*        Students with F-2 dependents will need to provide copies of
their dependent's passport, visa, I-94 (both sides) and all I-20's
(first and last page).  

*        Current physical address in U.S. including any friend or
temporary address, phone number, and email.  

*        Permanent physical address in home country.

*         Emergency contact information including address, phone number,
and email for friend or family member in U.S. and home country.
