New students that arrive in Commerce this week will need to report to
the International Student Services Office (ISSO) to check-in before they
can register for classes. For a list of documents/information required
for check-in please go to
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/international/forms/documents%20required%20
for%20check.pdf. Copies will need to be made at the university library.
For a map of campus go to
http://web.tamu-commerce.edu/aboutUs/contactUs/campusMapDirections/map/m
ap.pdf. The ISSO is located in Halladay Student Services building Room
104.
The ISSO strongly discourages students from arriving late to Commerce to
begin their studies because students may face a number of difficulties
including the following: port of entry may delay or deny your late
entry into the U.S., students cannot register for classes until they
check-in with an international advisor, late arrivals may have to secure
permission from the instructor(s) and dean of the college to register
late, and classes are filling up very quickly and students may have
difficulty in finding enough classes to satisfy USCIS's enrollment
requirements. For more information please go to

Commerce.pdf.
