[MusicEvents] TAMUC Virtual Faculty Recital (Thursday April 30, 7:30 p.m.)

Dear TAMUC Alumni and Friends of the Department of Music,

We hope this message finds you well and safe.  As we near the end of the academic year, we would typically be sending invitations to the numerous performances on our campus.  Although we are unable to invite you to campus to attend a live performance by one of our outstanding ensembles or faculty members, we would like to invite you to join us virtually.

TOMORROW, Thursday evening April 30th  at 7:30 PM, we will present a Virtual Recital featuring many of our faculty members in the Department of Music.  This will be broadcast on the University Bands Facebook page (@tamucbands).  While this certainly does not match hearing these wonderful musicians perform live in Finney Concert Hall, we hope this will give some of you who are unable to normally travel to Commerce an opportunity to hear members of our applied faculty perform.  I know that they enjoyed putting this informal recital together for you and we hope you will be able to join us.

While the semester certainly did not end the way we wanted it to, we can’t wait to get back into rehearsals with our student musicians in the fall, and invite you to attend one of the many exciting live performances planned in the Department of Music next year.
