[MusicEvents] Trio Kavanah Recital | Wednesday @ 6:00 PM

[Nancy Melton]

We hope that you will join us this coming Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM in the Recital Hall. Dallas-based Trio Kavanah is a new take on a traditional chamber ensemble. Trevor Hale on piano, Grace Wollett on violin, and Danny Goldman on clarinet combine their unique sounds and approaches to music to create a singular voice, that they eagerly share with the public wherever they travel. Kavanáh is an ancient Hebrew word from The Old Testament; it describes the intent, emotion, concentration, and purity of heart needed for prayer. Trio Kavanáh has taken this concept and applied it to music and expression; they strive for an honest, disciplined, and creative sound in the hopes to enhance the lives of all who listen.

The concert is free and open to the public. Stick around and meet the musicians as they work with our students and discuss their diverse musical careers.

This event is sponsored by the TAMU-Commerce Chapter of the International Tuba/Euphonium Association
