[MusicEvents] Music Faculty Showcase Recital TONIGHT!

~~~REMINDER~~~

The Department of Music is excited to kick off the new academic year by presenting our annual FACULTY SHOWCASE RECITAL Thursday, September 7.  The performance will be held in Finney Concert Hall in the Music Building on campus and will begin at 7:30pm.  Admission is free and a reception will follow the performance.

The recital will feature members of our outstanding music faculty performing works by contemporary composers Ovalle, Burritt, Deane, and Knight, as well as traditional favorites Bizet, Donizetti, Enesco and Gershwin.

In addition to the performance, the Department will be accepting donations to assist those devastated by Hurricane Harvey.  The relief effort is being lead by student groups in the department.
