[MusicEvents] Symphonic and Concert Band Performance, April 20th

Good afternoon from the band office,

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Symphonic and Concert Bands will be presenting their final concert of the Spring 2017 semester, on Thursday, April 20th.  The program is entitled "Outsourced", featuring selections transcribed for band from original piano, choral, orchestral and opera works.  Highlights of the program include the following:

Slava! (A Political Overture) - Leonard Bernstein
October - Eric Whitacre
Evening Prayer and Pantomime from "Hansel and Gretel" - Engelbert Humperdinck
Symphonic Dance No. 3 "Fiesta" - Clifton Williams
Air Dublinesque - Billy Joel

Please find the attached advertisement for additional information.  We hope you will join us for this final performance on Thursday at 7:30 PM, in Finney Concert Hall, on the campus of Texas A&M University-Commerce.  Admission is free, with a short reception following the performance.
