[MusicEvents] Symphonic and Concert Band Performance

[Nancy Melton]

The Music Department cordially invites you to attend the final performance of the semester by the Symphonic and Concert Bands. The program, entitled "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue" features works ranging from 16th Century composer Orlando Gibbons to music from such notable wind band composers at Gordon Jacob and Edward Gregson. Works from young composers Steve Danyew and David Biedenbender will add new and exciting flavors to the program as well. The Symphonic Band will close the concert with Frank Ticheli's exuberant "Wild Nights!", based on a poem of the same name by Emily Dickinson.

We look forward to sharing music with you next Monday, April 27, at 7:30 PM, in Finney Concert Hall. Admission is free. For more information, please call (903) 886-5303.

All the best,

--
