[MusicEvents] Sixth Annual Commerce Tuba Christmas Concert - Saturday, December 6th!

[Nancy Melton]

Happy Holidays!

We hope that you'll join us this coming Saturday for the 6th annual Commerce Tubachristmas Celebration! Anyone with a tuba, sousaphone, helicon, euphonium, baritone, alto horn, or any other close relative is welcome to participate as we perform Christmas carols for the East Texas community. If you don't have an instrument, feel free to come out anyway and sing along with the tuba carolers!

This year, our guest conductor is Don Little, Regents Professor of Tuba at the University of North Texas and former tubist with the Ft. Worth Symphony and Dallas Opera. Registration runs from 10:15-11:00 AM in the Texas A&M University - Commerce Music Building, the cost to participate is $10.

The performance will be at 12:30 in downtown Commerce on the historic square. There will be free donuts in the morning and hot wassail at the square. We're also happy to announce that we will have the decorating contest again this year, so bring your festive gear!
