[MusicEvents] Percussion Ensemble/Panimation Concert - THURSDAY, NOV. 7TH at 7:30 PM

[Nancy Melton]

The TAMU-C Percussion Ensemble II and Panimation Steel Drum Band will
give their Fall 2013 concert this Thursday, November 7th at 7:30 PM.
Panimation will give a concert prelude in the Music Building lobby,
followed by the Percussion Ensemble performance in the Concert Hall.
The classical ensemble will perform piano transcriptions by Debussy, an
exciting piece by Brian Nozny using 11 different size drums, an ethereal
marimba/vibraphone quartet, and a final work called "Power Struggle"
that has keyboards and drums battling it to the resounding conclusion.

Panimation will conclude the concert with four more charts from
traditional soca's, to a Beatles chart, and finishing with a Pan and
Horn section throw down!

Free refreshments will be served after the concert.
