I am giving a solo recital this Thursday, Jan. 26th at 7:30 pm.  The
recital will be in the new Music Building on the Texas A&M-Commerce
campus and is a free event.  If you can't make it to campus, the recital

Minoru Miki (1930-2011)

Ballades for Koto Solo, by Minoru Miki, arranged for marimba by Brian
Zator
 
Der Provokateur, snare drum solo by Leander Kaiser
 
Zoomorphs, by Armand Russell
Chamber piece with Dr. Daniel Kelly, trumpet & Jimmy Clark, trombone
 
Selections from 9 Peanuts, a virtuosic marimba solo by Anders Koppel
 
Spider Walk, an exciting multi-percussion solo by Marta Ptaszynska
 
Marimba Spiritual, by Minoru Miki
One of his most popular works - written for marimba solo and percussion
accompaniment
Assisted by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Percussion Ensemble
