Hello all,

I hope this semester and time of year is going well for everyone!  We
have several great events coming up for the Texas A&M
University-Commerce Percussion Studio that I invite you to attend or
watch via www.UStream.com on our account, TAMUCommercePerc.  Please also
"like" us on Facebook to keep up to date on all of the A&M-Commerce
Percussion Studio news and events. 

(Today) Friday, November 4th, 7:00: Dr. Zator performs with Ars Nova
Dallas on the Dallas Festival of Modern Music; Wilshire Baptist Church
in Dallas (Free admission, but no Ustream - sorry.)  Repertoire includes
Stravinsky's "L'Histoire du Soldat" and two world premieres.

Monday, November 7th, 7:30: TAMU-C Percussion Ensembles Concert; Finney
Concert Hall in Music Building (This WILL be streamed)
"AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MINUTES"

Experience music from 6 continents, 10 composers and 30 percussionists
as we "travel the world" in a fast-paced musical collage of sounds and
styles.

Thursday, November 10th: PASIC Individual and Ensemble Competition
Performers
We have 3 keyboard, 1 multi, 1 timpani and 2 small ensembles competing
at this year's festival

Thursday, November 17th, 7:00 & 19th, late afternoon: Dr. Zator performs
Brad Bodine's "Kaleidoscope: Concerto for Marimba and Wind Ensemble"
with the TAMU-C Wind Ensemble; Finney Concert Hall in Music Building

Sunday, December 4th, 3:30: Andrew Lynge, Senior Recital (This WILL be
streamed)

Tuesday, December 6th, 7:00: Chris Mead, Senior Recital (This WILL be
streamed)

I hope you and your students can either make it out to campus or for
