<span style="font-family:-webkit-standard;color:black">As we reach the mid-point of the summer, I want to update you on a few things for the Music Department. As many of you know, Dr. David Davies, who served as Interim Department Head for the past two years,
accepted a position as Director of School of Music at Nazareth College in New York. He starts this week and has already moved up there with his family.

<p><span style="font-family:-webkit-standard;color:black">As this is an essential position for the Department, I have volunteered to step into this role as Interim Department Head and am excited about leading our Department forward through this unique time
of our lives. Although things will be different for the fall semester, I can assure you that me and the entire faculty are dedicated to giving the students the best musical and educational experiences possible. We have some unique ideas of how to accomplish
these goals and will continue to work throughout the summer to organize our plans. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
