[MusicAlumni] Pre-Carnegie Hall Concert at Commerce

Dear Friend of the Texas A&M University-Commerce Music Department,

We would like to invite you to our Pre-Carnegie Hall Concert on Friday
February 24th at 7:30 p.m. in the Finney Concert Hall.

This concert will be the exact program that we will be performing in New
York's Carnegie Hall on the following Tuesday.  The concert will include
music by composers David Maslanka, Justin Freer, Andrew Bleckner, Anton
Bruckner as well as newly commissioned work by David Sampson entitled
Legend.

The concert will also feature Dr. Brian Zator on Bradley Bodine's
exciting new work, Kaleidoscope, for Marimba and Wind Ensemble as well
as Jennifer Sanchez, soprano, on James Syler's Symphony No. 1 (Blue) for
Chorus and Wind Ensemble.

I have attached a flyer detailing the concert. Admission is free and
tickets are not required. I hope you can join us for this exciting
concert showcasing the Chorale and Wind Ensemble as we prepare for
Carnegie Hall.
