There are a few “university-wide” questions that are given to students regardless of their major/program and then several department questions. We take your responses on these evaluations very seriously and especially appreciate the comments you provide. While your evaluations are completely anonymous, we do expect comments to be provided in a professional, constructive manner. These evaluations are viewed by the faculty member who teaches the course, the program directors, myself as Dept. Head, and other administrators on campus.

For some classes, the faculty “enrolled” in the A&M System Teaching Excellence award program (optional for faculty to participate, so if you do not see this option next to the regular Evaluation, this is not applicable for this class). This evaluation allows faculty to receive recognition by the A&M System and a cash award IF at least 70% of the enrolled students complete it AND the ratings are high enough to qualify. Soooo, if you would like a faculty member who you believe to be outstanding to be recognized, please take a few minutes to complete this evaluation as well.

Thank you for all your hard work this semester and best wishes for continued success.
