[MSW] Guest Speaker

[Avril Knox]

This week's guest speaker will be Tammy Finney.
Tammy's story is truly unbelievable, and the feedback from students who attended last fall was incredibly positive. Her story reminded MSW students of the importance of the social work profession and the significant role social workers can play in others' lives.
Her story also reinforces the powerful message that people can change and that those in the helping professions can have a lasting impact on an individual's life. For many students, hearing her story drove home the importance of this profession and how the knowledge, skills, compassion, and support social workers provide can make such a meaningful difference.
I hope you will encourage your students to take advantage of this opportunity. I truly believe Tammy's story will be inspiring and meaningful as they continue their journey into the social work profession.
