[MSW] Spring Registration - New Process

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS EMAIL  *** IMPORTANT***

When Spring registration opens Monday, Oct. 20, you can register without permits – unless you need 553 (field).   We have been working on changing the process and I wasn’t sure if it’d be ready in time for Spring registration, but it is up and running for Spring! 😊😊  So, everyone can refer to their Degree Plan, choose classes after looking at the Schedule of Classes https://appsprod.tamuc.edu/Schedule/Schedule.aspx?Menu=&ShowMenuDetail=&Debug=&DB=PROD&WO=&2504=Y&Dept=SWK&Term=202620&Corq=A&Preq=S , then register without permits.  If you have misplaced your Degree Plan, I can send to you.

If you need 553 (field for Foundation students), please email me so I can give you a permit.  AGP students will not need any permits whatsoever.

Please remember these details when picking your classes:


  *   All classes are NOT offered every semester (see chart below)
  *   553 should be taken your last semester of Foundation classes.
  *   511 is a prerequisite of 513
  *   590 is a prerequisite of 595
  *   It is encouraged to take the two 554’s consecutively.
  *   The Comp Exam will be given about 2 months before your graduation.
  *   3 classes is considered full time for fall & spring; 2 classes for summer - but do what your degree plan says.
  *   If you are on financial aid, you need to take two classes for it to apply.
