Substance Abuse Counselor (Full Time)

Nexus Recovery Center is growing and seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling services to our clients for our residential programs.

The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for client caseload, including individual and group counseling sessions, documentation of client progress and participation, treatment plans and reviews and discharge planning. Enforces house and community rules, manages crisis situations, and provides assessment, orientation and education as appropriate. Supervises interns and practicum students as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS Candidates must have college degree (Master's level preferred), a valid counseling license (LCDC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC-A) and valid driving license. Candidates with previous substance abuse or mental health counselor experience are preferred. Experience working with women is a plus!

Work Schedule - Sunday through Thursday (during 8am-5pm hours)
