POSITION TITLE:  Forensic Interviewer
REPORTS TO:     Program Director
SCHEDULE:         Full Time
 JOB DESCRIPTION:
           The position of Forensic Interviewer consists of direct work with alleged child abuse victims, their non-offending families, Child Protective Investigators, Law Enforcement Officers, and District Attorneys, along with other Multidisciplinary Team Members.  This position is best suited for a person who works well  with others as a team, is able to handle stressful situations, is willing to be trained and regularly reviewed for their expertise in this field. This person will be expected to  relate to  clients, families, peers and team partners with professional integrity and perform the requirements of this position according to professional ethics. This position requires  knowledge in child abuse matters, including but not limited to, reporting abuse, child development, and the impact of abuse at various stages of development , and be willing to continually learn. This position requires  testifying in court on a regular basis, previous experience would be beneficial.
