The East Texas (Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Smith, Upshur, Van Zandt, Wood) and North East Texas (Bowie, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Morris, Red River, Titus) Leadership for NASW is OPEN and anyone interested should self-nominate before 11/26.

You can run for Branch Chair, NLIC or the Full Board.  BSW and MSW Student positions are also open.  It has been quite some time since we have had organized leadership in the EAST or NORTH EAST TEXAS area.  The future of Social Work is based on our ability as a profession to be visible.

I would encourage any of our current or former students to run for one of these open positions.  I have served as NLIC and Region 04 Board Member and will promise an enjoyable experience.  I will work with you to hold meetings and will offer to support finding locations with partner agencies in local communities - Become a Leader.
