[MSW] SUMMER I SCHEDULE REVISED - REGISTRATION FORMS

The changes are complete and in the system for MSW Summer 2016 schedule.
Revised request for permits forms are attached.

Procedures for Permit Request Form

Please do not retype the form in another format.  Registration requests will only be accepted in excel format.

Please open the appropriate form (A) / (B) / (C) SUM16,
Save it as an .XLS document Name it: Registration Request: (your name)

Then, proceed as follows:

1.         Open the Summer 2016 form and tab to the box following Name: and type your name.

2.         Tab to the box following CWID: and type your 8 digit campus wide ID number.

3.         Tab to the box following Email: and type your email address.

4.         Consult your degree plan and determine which classes you are scheduled to take.  The Summer 2016 abbreviation is SUM16.

5.         Tab to the long box following Course #1.  When you tab to this box, you will notice a drop down list arrow at the end of this box.  Click on this icon and the course offerings which require registration permits for Summer 2016 will be in the drop down.

These are the same courses shown at the bottom of the form.  Once you have determined the class you are scheduled to take, simply click on that line from the drop down list and the course will be entered in that box.  Then tab to the next long box following Course #2 and follow the same procedure. Continue the steps for remaining courses, if necessary.

Please note that you will not be able to type the information in these long boxes.  The information must be selected from the drop down list.  Please do not alter the form in any way.

6.         Once you have selected your courses and are ready to submit the information, please save the form and send it as an email attachment to me at janis.cirkles at tamuc.edu<mailto:janis.cirkles at tamuc.edu>.  Once the permits have been issued, I'll send you an email to let you know that you can register.

If the course (or courses) you want is full, I'll add your name to the waiting list and will notify you that you'll be able to register once the class is opened up.  Please be assured that you will be able to register for all of the classes that you need before the start of the semester.

Also, please double check your form before submitting it to me and be sure that you have selected the correct courses, i.e., correct date, time, and location, to avoid unnecessary delays.
