I wanted to share an open position for a LMSW with you. My sister Lacey Garn graduated from A&M’s program and boosts about their program and graduates. Was hoping you might be able to help.

Melinda had asked me to let you know about our Social Worker position here at CBH.  We have 2 Part time/PRN LMSWs working now so we have increased their hours to provide the coverage we need in the short term.  We are looking for a LMSW (regulations really require a LMSW) who has some experience in the health care industry and who has some life experience.  I say that because a lot of our older patients don’t readily accept someone young and right out of school; it’s been our experience that they seem to decline or limit their visits.  With the staffing we have we can be a little flexible as to the status of the position; I would like someone full time but we can also work someone on a part time basis if needed.  There are some added services and visit frequencies that we would like to do.  The salary is based upon previous experience but usually pays about $25/hour if part time and around $50k if full time; we always look at the market and salary history to set the rate.
