[Msw] Volunteer at the NASW/TX Conference this Fall!!

[Pamela Hammond]

Dear Students:
Please consider volunteering at the Texas NASW Conference. It is a great opportunity to meet other social workers and learn about jobs around the state.
Thanks,
Linda Openshaw
NASW/Texas is seeking students to volunteer at our 38th Annual State Conference<http://naswtx.site-ym.com/?page=Conference> on October 18-20, 2014 in San Marcos, Texas.

The NASW/Texas State Conference is your chance to network with professionals working across all fields of practice, connect with agencies looking to hire social workers, and explore new topics and grow your knowledge through our diverse sessions.

As a student volunteer you will attend the conference at a greatly discounted rate - just $60 for NASW Student Members and $70 for student nonmembers! In exchange, you will be assigned four hours of volunteer time at the conference. Tasks may include monitoring sessions, monitoring the halls and providing directions, working at the registration desk or the general store, unloading/loading, and more.
