[Msw] Social Work Elective

This is just an FYI.

 

If you are taking, or plan to take, a course outside of the School of
Social Work, i.e., Psychology, Counseling, etc., and wish to use that
course as a substitute for the social work elective (SWK 597), please be
sure to contact Dr. Linda Openshaw, MSW Program Director, preferably
before you sign up for the course.  Dr. Openshaw decides whether or not
a course taken outside of Social Work is a suitable substitute for SWK
597.  If you don't receive Dr. Openshaw's permission, you run the risk
of taking a course which won't count towards your MSW degree and you'll
be required to take either SWK 597 or a course which is approved by Dr.
Openshaw.
