Dear MSW Students - we are developing the Spring 2013 schedule and would
like your input (knowing there will be no consensus J) for the
Concentration classes (since there are multiple sections). In the past,
we have scheduled "stacked" classes on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday
evenings (4:30-7:10 and 7:20 - 10:00pm) OR Saturdays (8:30-11:30 and
12:00-3:00). We piloted offering classes during the daytime in Commerce
only this fall (9-12pm, 1-4pm, 5-6 (field) and 6-9pm) which has been
very favorable.
We plan to continue the one-day option for Commerce classes and are
exploring this for one of the MPLX sections. Please reply to this email
and indicate which schedule of classes you would most prefer. We'll
develop a schedule around those that the majority indicate as
preferable:
Full-time Concentration Students - (SWK 505, 506, 555, 590 or 595).
Part-time students can indicate which option includes the one day for
preferred attendance.
Please put an "X" by only one choice:
Option 1: ______
TUESDAYS 5:00-6:00 pm (field); 6:00 - 9:00 pm AND
WEDNESDAYS 4:30-7:10pm; 7:20 - 10:00 pm
Option 2: ______
WEDNESDAYS 9 am - 12pm; 1 - 4 pm; 5 -6 pm (field) and
6 - 9pm)
Option 3: ______
TUESDAYS 5:00-6:00 (field); 6:00 - 9:00 pm AND
SATURDAYS 8:30-11:30am and 12:00-3:00pm
Please email your response back to me by Friday, Sept. 21
(brenda.moore at tamuc.edu). Thank you for your input and have a great
semester!! (FYI, in case you're wondering, the selection of days takes
into consideration teaching schedules for faculty for the BSW program in
Commerce as well as MSW classes...)
