Dear Students - the NASW Texas Annual Conference this year is in Dallas
so we would love for Texas A&M -Commerce students to be well represented
among the volunteers for this event!!  Info on registering is listed

Student Volunteers Needed for Conference

What we need:  Volunteers at the NASW/Texas annual state conference to
staff sessions, take tickets and help set up for special events, assist
in registration and continuing education, sell items at our bookstore,
staff NASW/Texas booths, do anything and everything that needs to be
done!

 

What we ask of you:  We ask for 4 hours of your time and an
administrative fee of $60 (members) or $70 (non-members).

 

What you get from us:  If you volunteer your time at conference, you
will be eligible for everything that is included in the regular
registration package. You will also be refunded $20 of your registration
fee upon completion of your 4 hours of service.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to network with social work
professionals (and maybe even find a job with one of our many exhibitors
from around the country!)

 

What you need to do:  We will only accept the first 250 registration
forms that we receive from students, so if interested, register NOW!
You can find the Student Registration form on our website at 
www.naswtx.org.  The student volunteer registration form is only
available online.

 

We need volunteers at the chapter office before conference as well.  If
you are a student that lives in the Austin or surrounding area and want
to get your volunteer time completed prior to conference, contact
Virginia Cantu at 512.474.1454 to schedule your time.
