[Msw] Job Opportunity for Program Therapist & Discharge Planner

Mayhill Hospital (in Denton, Texas) is looking to hire qualified
individuals to work at our psychiatric facility serving Adults and
Geriatrics on the Inpatient Unit.  We are currently looking to fill two
positions:

 

Program Therapist (Full Time):  Performs social services functions to
include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while
enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve
their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic
consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work
services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention,
short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and
referrals as needed.  Education:  Master's Degree from an accredited
college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental
health field.  Experience:  At least two years of experience in related
field.  License:  State Licensure required (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPCI)

 

Discharge Planner (Full Time):  Responsible for planning and
coordinating activities related to discharge planning.  Developing and
implementing a plan of care designed to meet the patient's post
hospitalization needs while ensuring continuity of care.  Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, in Social
Work or a clinical related mental health field.  Experience:  Hospital
and/or Discharge Planning experience strongly preferred.
