[Msw] Summer schedules and waiting lists

Dear Students - just to keep you informed of our efforts with the summer
schedule...Pam is keeping me apprised of the numbers of students who are
on the waiting lists for various classes, including the online classes
(SWK 507 and SWK 597).  By keeping wait lists (rather than just adding
seats as a class fills up) we are able to seek approval from
administration to add additional sections (including additional online
options!). Also, the number of students that show up as "enrolled" in
the online class schedule is the number of students who have been
permitted and have actually registered.  Pam tracks the number of
permits she authorizes so that is what determines when a class is "full"
even if all of the students have not yet registered.

 

So, thank you for your continued patience in the next couple of weeks
